Our customer has a CMS library (with 1000 elements) on his VAX, he would like to port the whole thing on a Windows NT environment, the source files will be stored in a Microsoft Source Safe library. Is there any chance to find a conversion tool, possibly to keep all info from the CMS lib in Source Safe ? Any info on the concern, or a better location to look for the answer ? thanks, Michel,

Hi Michel, I don't know of any tools to do this, but perhaps one of our readers may. This is as good a place to ask as any that I know of. This may not be a desirable option for the customer, but have you suggested the CMS Client? It doesn't help them with storing the files locally on the PC, but it would allow them to use their PCs to store and retrieve source files residing in CMS libaries on their VMS systems. -- Daryl |
