We have an existing VAX and Alpha user who is interested in using CMS for a Year 2000 project. Does anybody know plesase of any South UK users (either customers or internal Digital people) who would be willing to talk to him and perhaps even show him CMS in action? I am arranging a loan for evaluation and would like to get him to buy it but arranging a demonstration from scratch is out of the question. regards and thanks David Gallagher UK SBU Pre-Sales

OpenVMS engineering stores OpenVMS in CMS. (We have a large package layered on top of callable CMS, VDE, as we use 800+ CMS libraries -- the stock interface does not work well for this many CMS libraries.) We use multiple RZ29-class disks, and have well over 50 million lines of source code in the libraries, and have a large number of engineers making source code changes. At least one of the branches of OpenVMS engineering in the UK is/was using VDE and CMS. | |||||
