If yes, then what is the MAC address to be used at remote end when they try to setup LLC2 dte to DECnis (I know there are rule in assigning MAC addresses to Ethernet card on DECnis, but no sure for FDDI card on DECnis)? thanks again for help! The rules for FDDI address assignment is similar to that for the L60x cards. The single address for the FDDI is the common first 11 digits + the slot number that the F621 device is known by, for example F621-9-0 in nis203 shows: Node NIS203 FDDI Station f621-9-0 Link 1 at 1997-05-07-09:28:42.338+01:00Iinf Characteristics Link Address = 08-00-2B-A1-0E-99 when the node ID is Node NIS203 at 1997-05-07-09:29:07.118+01:00Iinf Status ID = 08-00-2B-A1-0E-90 The Link Address is the address to use when configuring the remote LLC2 DTE.
