| I had a go at the PEP for Exchange. The structure of it differs from
ealier test exams of NT 3.51, Win 95 etc. In the real exam, do you
still have the ability to review questions before you end the test ?

107.5 | Yes, that's possible | BRSADV::bro-sophie.bro.dec.com::BRSISB::chalmet | | Tue Mar 18 1997 11:44 | 9 |
| Yes, that is possible.
You can go through all the questions as much as you want
(if time permits of course).
You can answer all the questions and than revisit a
specific question or walk through all marked questions...

107.8 | Phew! | TACOS::PULLANR | | Fri Mar 21 1997 17:45 | 12 |
| I passed this morning with 714 (653 required). Like most Deccies, I
have no experience of MS mail, but when faced with questions concerning
MS Mail, I applied a common sense answer which worked 62% of the time.
There seemed to be a lot of questions on the client with which I
struggled a bit, so it would have been a good idea to have spent some
time revising this part. As mentioned before, the PEP exams bear little
resemblance to the real thing.
5 down, 1 to go!
Thanks to earlier contributors to this note.

107.9 | Exchange Test question type and screen size | ALFSS2::madtwn.alf.dec.com::warrens_r | | Fri Apr 25 1997 05:28 | 9 |
| What is the 'new' style question mentioned earlier?
What is the 'problem' with a 14" screen relating to the material
presented.
I have not taken the test yet, just wondering what the issue will be.
Thanks
Randy

107.10 | | TACOS::PULLANR | | Mon Apr 28 1997 11:48 | 10 |
| The actual exam is presented in the 'traditional' format of the other
MCSE exams such as NT351 workstation , server, TCPIP for NT351, WIN95
etc. If you have not taken any of these exams, you can get a feel for
them by trying assessment Exams from
http://www.microsoft.com/train_cert/download.htm
To understand how the exhibits clutter up the screen, set your screen
to standard VGA and run the TCP/IP exam.
The 'new' style question of the PEP is not used in the actual exam.
Rich.
