Hi,

I need to connect the Fast Ethernet port of two VNswitch 900 EX 
(multimode fiber)thru a singlemode fiber cable. I'll use two boxes
which convert from MMF to SMF, but I need to know the window that the Fast
Ethernet port uses. It seems that can be 850 or 1300 nm.

Does anyone know which of both values is the one used by the VNswitch
EX in the FastEthernet port?

    The 100BASE-FX Fiber Optic 100Mb/s Ethernet standard borrowed almost
    everything from the FDDI MMF standard (signaling, encoding, optics,
    etc). Therefore the VNswitch fiber optic Fast Ethernet PHYs use 1300nm
    optics.
