    Hi,
    
    One of our largest customers in Brazil is considering the use of
    VNswitches and ATMswitches on their site. They have a question:
    
    Data Communications magazine has published in September,1996 an article
    with test results of some ATM switches and edge devices, in a Lan
    Emulation configuration. Digital was not one of the tested companies.
    He would like to know if we have some performance numbers for our
    equipments. The test is illustrated below.

    That configuration has been benchmarked.  I'll try to sort
    out where the documentation is.

    Thanks Hugh for your reply. Do you believe this results are available
    anywhere in the Intranet? The customer is waiting for this information
    to start a biding process. There is some information on www.tolly.com,
    but without numbers. I will appreciate very much any information.
