| It should work. Are you using V.1.5 or later?
You do need to give the EA an in band IP address for it to work. That
address is in addition to the MAM IP address.

Hugh,
i gave an IP address for the HUB in Band and an IP address
for the EA, i can access the EA alone via Multichassis or ping
but i can't access the in band address of the HUB.
if i replace the EA by another module like 90FS i can access
the hub via in band address hosted by 90FS
any comments will be appreciated, did you test this config before ?

Try replacing the EA with a VNswitch EE, EX, or EF (if you have one of
these) and let us know.

For the EE/EX/EF, yes, and it definitely worked. I'm not so sure if the EA
was tested in this config.
What version of EA are you using?

Jean-Yves,
Did you give the Hub in Band and the EA in Band different IP address?
I am not sure if it matters, but is the Hub IP address in the same
subnet and the EA IP address, as defined by the EA in Band
subnet mask?
