hello, Do you where is it possible to get the last MCM version 6.1 field test I think? When we power down an entire hub with modules and power up again,we dn't loose the configuration for lan interconnection. If you take it off one specific module within a hub900 and plug it again (equivalent of a power down) you loose the lan interconnect configuration you made for this module by MCM.is there any plan to improve that in a future version? Thanks for your answer regards lionel

With MAM v5.x (for which you use MCM 6.x to manage) you press the "Backplane Auto-healing" button which can be found in the upper left corner of the Lan Interconnect window in MCM. When Backplane Auto-Healing is enabled, a module can be hot-swapped and when it powers back up it is reconfigured and reconnected to the hub backplane. This used to be an FDDI-specific feature but with the v5.x mam it has been expanded to include all module types. -Mike |
