4406.1 | Sounds suspiciously like a fragmentation issue.... | NETCAD::BATTERSBY | | Tue May 13 1997 10:59 | 6 |
| Sounds possibly like another twist of a fragmentation problem/bug I
think that is currently under investigation by the VNswitch developers.
Walter, you might want to post your base note in the Common_brouters
notes conference (IROCZ::COMMON_BROUTERS).

4406.3 | fix coming | FORBIN::WILKINSON | | Tue May 13 1997 15:33 | 10 |
| We configured a CSR wrong and IPX raw enabled was not working
on the VNbus and ATM. The fix should be in a maintenance release
that is anticipated to go up on the web at the end of this week.
(V1.5.3).
IPX does not support fragmentation -- so that is unlikely to be
involved.

| I need the 'fix' asap because the customer does not enough old
900EF modules to replace all the installed VNswitch.

V1.5.3 was built incorrectly. It does not have all the fixes in it that
we had planned (such as this IPX fix).
We are rebuilding images today -- with all the right fixes -- and we
will be calling it V1.5.4.
V1.5.4 should be available next week after some testing in-house.
