4403.0. "Config a RouteAbout" by ODIXIE::GALVEZ () Mon May 12 1997 21:22

I'm trying to configure 2 RouteAboutes that have Frimware rev 1.1. Is
it possible to only configure for lat and mop bridging and IP routing
only? Is this done with Qconfig or do I need to use clearvisn to
configure? I tried with Qconfig and saw nothing to point me to set up
    what I only need.

I would like to talk to someone that feels comfortable doing a
    config from scratch.

    Thanks,

    Art Galvez

    Hi Art

Qconfig does allow you to set up IP routing and bridging without routing
    any other protocols ...

It prompts you for the WAN links (PPP, Frame Relay etc), and for the IP
routing parameters and whether you want bridging (Yes). It also
prompts you as to whether you want to set up the other protocols such
as IPX and DECNET (No) and then for the routing protocol (OSPF, RIP).

Alternatively you can use clearVISN Router Configurator which is like a
graphical version of qconfig. This is available free on the Digital
    Networks Web.

    Regards
