This has been discussed in IROCZ::TERMINAL_SERVERS (hit KP7 to add) and
futher discussion should occur there.

The QVL for the original part now includes SIMMs that don't work in the
DS90TL. The older DRAM chips, on the older versions of the QVL, are no
longer in production. This is a DRAM chip supply issue; they've gone
end of life. We know of no replacement part numbers. You might start a
black market in older 4 MB single-sided SIMM modules!
If you have a mixed population of DECservers, perhaps some DS700's or DS900's
that have the _old_ 4 MB SIMM modules, you could swap. The new 4 MB SIMMs
that won't work in the DS90TL, _will_ work in the DS700's or DS900's.
The sad answer for the customer is, it's too late to get any upgrade
SIMMs for DS90TL.
The DS90TL itself is going end of life, and will be replaced with a
version of the DS90M without Flash RAM.
