4369.0. "Win95 Clearvisn V1.1A Installation in a directory other than C:\clearvis???" by IAMOSI::LEUNG () Mon Apr 21 1997 03:52

Is it supported to install Clearvisn in a directory with space in the name?

I tried to install it in C:\Program Files\Clearvis.
The installation went fine without a hitch. But, I encountered the following
problems :
1) Trying to run any program in Start -> Programs -> clearVISN results in
   file referenced by ShortCut not found.
   I fixed that by changing the Target in the ShortCut entry to have the full
   filename in quotes.

2) Even with that, there are problems finding files when starting Multi-Chassis
Manager. Cannot find hwutilv20.dll

We have recorded this problem in our problem tracking system. For the time
being, it would probably be best to limit the destination directory name to a
string that does not contain embedded blanks.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
