Besides the VNswitches, What other modules can connect the the Second set of six ethernets in the DEChub 900? I am looking for PORTswitch modules (specifically fiber) that can take advantage of the second set of six ethernets. Thanks, Dave

Currently, only VNswitches can connect to the "more ethernets" (the 2-wire ethernets). A new Portswitch is suppose to be out, hopefully, this summer that will connect to them. Don't know if there will be a fiber version. Brad | |||||

I think that the thoughts for the fiber module are to just provide switched connects to the VNbus. You can use the VN technology to map them to different lans if you need to create secure/separate lans. |
