  Can anyone help me understand what is being reported by HPOpenview.

  Config is 3 hubs with Decswitch 900EF as IP services, 5 DechubOne with
  PEswitch 900TX. All hubs and switches are set to send traps to Openview NMS.

  Regularly from 1 hub and occasionally from 1 PEswitch the following event
  message pops up on the NMS :-

  Trap #0 from OID Dechub 900   xxx.yyy.zzz or

  Trap #0 from OID PEswitch900TX   xxx.yyy.zzz

  Both devices have the correct sysoid defined in the ov\devices file.

  I have looked on the console of the hub and can find nothing untoward which 
  would help, I even started event logging to my laptop whilst a couple of 
  traps occurred, but nothing showed up.

   Anyone any idea what may be happening here ?

	I don't know anything about OpenView, but I know about traps. If you can capture the trap message and post it, maybe I can help. -Shawn
