| Well just a follow up on what happened. I brought the gigaswitch up to
3.1 via flashload. I just had to change the load file to show the
latest and greatest.
The firmware upgrade was a success but the only thing I need to
solve is the box in flashloader where it shows the current and latest
firmware. The current shows 3.1 and the latest shows the older 3.01.
Where is flashloader looking for the latest??
Thanks in advance..

| In \clearvis\firmware there is a file called "dcffiles.dat" in that file lists the current
firmware revs for all the devices flashloader knows how to load, change the version(s) for
the GS/FDDI to the version you are trying to load.

| So thats where it is.. I found it, thanks..
Is this file on the web somewhere that I can have a pointer to update
the file whenever new firmware is available for any hub/gig product?

| You can find that file, DCFFILES.DAT, which is the lastest and
greatest version in existance...
http://www.networks.digital.com:80/dr/hubs/firmware/index.html
It's the third file down under the first header (General
Firmware Information).
