We are considering making some changes to the supported features of RMON Manager for clearVISN V2.0. One of them is to place all traps received from the probes into the general clearVISN event database - rather than in a seperate "probe only" database. This means that the probe traps will be scattered among other network traps. The second thing is removal of the Alert Monitor - which gives you the ability to kick-off a command procedure. This is being considered to simplify the integration of RMON Manager with the clearVISN core services. Please let me know what your thoughts are here. I want to do the work to keep the features supported as they are today - which means a bit more development work. However - if customers won't be upset by this then I will take the easy root. Please answer here in prelies - or by mail. My address is netcad::morenz. Thanks, JoAnne Morenz clearVISN
