Howdy, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if any of our Twisted Pair repeater Hub Products support Full Duplex mode?. Any inputs would be appreciated.. Thanks John Gibb

I think that's impossible, isn't it? All the ports on a repeater (or repeater group) are in the same collision domain. The reason switch ports can do full duplex is that each port has its own collision domain, and the packet is stored until it can be transmitted. The 600 series switches can do full duplex, and I'll bet the VNswitches can as well. The ethernet ports on the 900EE, 900EF can't. -Mike

Thanks Mike.. It gets confusing when a DE500 is installed on a alpha and now you have various console settings for ew* modes of operation... Thanks again.. John Gibb
