Hi there,
One of our big customers has a strange behaviour with a DEFMI connected to
a DEFBA(with DEFLM).
If he enables the HUB mastership on the DEFMI(Stack with a DETML) and puts an
IP-Address into the DEFMI he is certainly able to manage the stack, BUT,
after some time(1-5 hours) the nodes on the DETML loose their connections or
crash. If he looks into the "find duplicate MAC addresses" in MCM 5.0 he gets
several duplicates(20+). There are several HUBs involved in these duplicates,
but it seems that one of these duplicates always belongs to a port connected
over the DEFMI.
The he does a Factory reset on the DEFMI, so that the IP-address and HUB
mastership is cleared, and everything works fine.
He tried this several times with the same strange effect.
The problem did not go away with upgrading the firmware on all modules to
the latest version.
any help
cheers
Robert
