I have connected an IBM PC with a TRN interface to one of the 2 TRN ports of a DECswitch 900ET, without a MAU. The TRN doesn't work. The network is like this. ------------------- Ethernet I Transparent Bridging DS900ET T1 T2 Source Routing T PC The DS900ET does only Bridging with SR<->TB (no routing). So for me, it seems that a MAU is neeeded. Could you confirm me this idea? Thank you for the answer. Bernard |
