There was a bug in writing the VLAN data to NVRAM. A power cycle would result in reading NVRAM and the VLAN data was bad. Engineering has a fix and the plan is to include the fix in the next release of the DEFBA, DEFBB and DESBF firmware. Planned release date is mid-late Spring/97. Bill | |||||

Hi, We realized this bug as well. We have a key customer who gives 10Mbit Ethernet support for his partners via two DS900EF, FDDI, and Ethernet VLANs When a DEFBA is restarted because of a power interrupt, the VLAN configuration will be crashed and must be reconfugured! So, it would be great to solve this problem in next DS900EF firmware version. When will it be avaiable? Thanks, Endre [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
