Hi there , Can someone please tell if the DECSwitch 900EE as a store-and-forward switch, can it provides automatic jabber blocking? I know it can block Runts, but I'm concern with blocking of Jabbers. Many Thanks in advance. Youda Kopel, NPB Australia. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Hello, Store and forward switches in general (including the DECswitch 900EE) only forward good ("error free") frames. The frame has to be well formed, with a good CRC in order to be forwarded. Jabber is blocked. -Shawn |
