I have a DECbridge 90 in a mixed DEC/IEEE STP LAN.
To my surprise the bridge90 was sending out DEC bridge hellos with
the IEEE root's MAC address as Root in the the DEC hellos.
I hate to think what havoc this could cause !

Since there is no lockdown mode on the DB 90 it should migrate
to IEEE mode. Is there an LB 100 on the network? There is also
a new V4.0 image which has a change in the spanning tree code,
however I am not 100% sure it would fix this problem.

I just loaded the new dewgb V4.0 code in one of my bridge's....
It never comes back online...MOD OK never gets active.
A mop connect leaves me at the >> prompt.
Anyone else have any problems with this new code ?????
