A customer is seeing backward question marks and other garbage characters on a vt420 connected to the 900hub setup port. The customer suggested that their account rep. told them this is a known issue. I called the account rep. who denied saying anything about a vt420 and 900hub setup port issue. Has anyone herd of issues like this ? The vt420 works fine connected to a Digital Unix box via a ds900 (telnet) in the same hub. thanks Larry Morse

Hi - I'd recommend checking the VT420's settings against what's listed in the DEChub 900 owner's manual. Dotsie | |||||

This is probably not the same thing at all, but I had a RouteAbout EW that just gave me the backward question marks no matter what the baud rate or parity was. The fix was simple, I pressed the break key and I was back in business (I was slightly embarassed though) Tom Herendeen NPB SE |
