3810.0. "HUBWATCH_LOAD definition" by NYOSS1::HERENDEEN (Tom Herendeen @NYO, 352-2936) Fri Aug 23 1996 23:07
Could one of the ClearVISN team members comment on the following error
that I encountered today?
I upgraded a customer's copy of HubWatch 4.1.1 to 5.0 on a Win95
machine and found that I couldn't add an agent to the community table
because HUBWATCH_LOAD still pointed to c:\firmware and HUBWACH_LIBRARY
pointed to c:\hubwatch\userdata instead of c:\clearvis\...
Once I modified AUTOEXEC.BAT and rebooted, things worked normally.
I tried a clean install on my laptop and saw the same thing so I don't
believe that it's an upgrade issue. I am using the June WNT/W95 CD
(AG-QX8CA-BS). It was VERY clean, it just got back from Salem with a
new disk.
One other question, when setting up the TFTP server, you need to
specify both the MAC address and the IP address. Is there any tool
under 95 to determine your own address other than pinging the PC from
another host and looking at its ARP entries?
Thanks
Tom Herendeen
