Folks When I attemp to use the data capture icon through probewatch with the DECswitch EF I get the follwoing error message entity or group not present in agent. Hello Steven, If I interpret this right, Data Capture is not supported: from the Release Notes of DEFBA170.BIN The DECswitch 900EF module supports the following Request For Comments (RFC) and Management Information Base (MIB) extensions: -- SNMP management (RFC 1157) -- MIB II (RFC 1213) -- Bridge MIB (RFC 1493) -- FDDI MIB (RFC 1512) -- Ethernet MIB (RFC 1643) -- RMON MIB (RFC 1757) (statistics, history, alarms, events) -- Digital ELAN MIB Extensions V3.2, April 1996 -- DEChub 900 Common MIB Extensions V1.1, June 1995 Regards OTTO | |||||

Thanks for the reply. I actaully recieved a mail this morning which
talks about the new features in 1.7 So I will have a go in here before
I ask the customer to upgrade his.
