I installed the version Win 95 version clrVSN 1.0 Kit and I could use Multichassis Manager and Flash Loader and quite well upgrade DEChub 900 modules (after invoking the tftp server in Router Manager), last week. My PC was used by someone else for a while, but all he did was installed office S/W such as Microsoft Word and Power Point etc. I can still use Multichassis manager and Flashloader to show F/W revs of modules. But I am unable to start the tftp server. When I run the Router Manager, I get a big red/grey Logo screen saying AUTO BAHN ROUTER MANAGER and then a I get an ICON on the bottom of the screen saying STONEY BROOK Router Manager. I don't see any TFTP server ICON as I used to see last week. How could all this happen. Could someone have installed some other version of clrVSN ? I don't want to reinstall the whole thing again if I can avoid it. Alphonse

I found someone who used my PC commented out 3 lines in AUTOEXEC.BAT. Don't know who and why he it. rem SET WSAVERS=1.1 rem AutoBahn-C:\ClearVIS\PROBEW rem NSHOME=C:\clearVIS\FIRMWARE Not being a PC wizz, I removed the above 3 comments and tftp server works OK. I did not try one line at a time so I do not know which line would have fixed it. Alphonse |
