I tried clearVISN installation from CDROM, but a message window title of 'ODBC Failure' appeared. At that point, 97% of procedure had proceeded. By clicking OK button, rest of the procedure seemed to be done successfully. After installation, I tried Router Manager and I could register router devices. But I couldn't run DeviceDB. The error message says : Couldn't find ODBC.DLL . It's necessary to run c:\clearVIS\routerdb\routerdb.exe So I copied ODBC.DLL to c:\windows\system. And I tried to run DeviceDB but no window or no error message appeared. What happened to RouterDB ? My PC is Windows 95 upgraded from Windows 3.1. I tried installation to another PC (native(inherent) Windows 95) and on that PC RouterDB worked correctly. How can I solve this problem ?

> see note 3714.* In my case, the CDROM is for WNT/Win95 if the label is honest. I got it at the SE forum. And during the installation, I received message 'core is created successfully' (I can't remember the message exactly.) My Win95 PC have enough resources : 32MB memory, 300MB free space. No application was running during the installation. I can run every applications except for DeviceDB. What is wrong ? |
