    Hello,
    
    Working for a customer environment, I have to test WNT/Intel
    compatibility between POLYCENTER Manager on NETview V3.1 and ClearVISN
    Router Manager V1.0.
    
    
    Test 1
    ______
    
    
    After starting PNV (ovstart -v), I've run RM. Then errors
    messages are displayed :
    
    	- Cannot Register Trap Port, Traps are unavailable, error 10048:	
    		Address already in use
    
    		(ClearVIS SNMP Server has started and has iconified...) 
    
    	
    => NO RM USER/PASSWORD window has been displayed.
    
    Then, I've tried twice. The USER/PASSWORD dialog has been statisfied.
    
    		(TFTP Server has started and has iconified...) 
    
    => ALL seems to be good (no DATA corruption).
    
    
    Test 2
    ______
    
    
    After starting PNV (ovstart -v), I've run RM. Then errors
    messages are displayed :
    
    	- MDKE0000: Mircokernel is already loaded.
    
    	- Cannot Register Trap Port, Traps are unavailable, error 10048:	
    		Address already in use
    
    		(ClearVIS SNMP Server has started and has iconified...) 
    
    	
    => NO RM USER/PASSWORD window has been displayed.
    
    Then, I've tried another time. The USER/PASSWORD dialog has been statisfied.
    
    		(TFTP Server has started and has iconified...) 
    
    => ALL DATA seems to be CORRUPTED (NO DATA...) !!
    	==> I've to logoff, logon & restore \clearVIS\btrieve directory.
    
    
    This erratic behavior seems to mean that the ClearVIS RM V1.0 kit is 
    the STONYBROOK Software STANDLONE kit, ie PNV is not expected to run
    simultaneously...
    
    Is there a way to allow the compatibility between these 2 products ? 
    OR do we have to wait for a full supported on PNV kit, ie as 
    STONYBROOK does for its own kits ?

	Talked to Stonybrook support last week about RM Autobahn and there
	is a fix, which our Polycenter group should allready have, to run
	Autobahn (standalone version) with PNV V3.1 for WNT without any
	problems.

	Is there a fix availible for this problem within digital ?
