Hi there. I have a customer who has a MAM module that is over temp. This was discovered wen he was doing a dump of the error log. Apart from this entry there is no sign of anything else being wrong. The LCD display is still scrolling through the various updates. And is hub is in a computer room. It has 2 power and only 3 modules. Any ideas? Steven F. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Well there is yellow over temp and red over temp. If it's in the yellow over temp, it's probably not going to hurt things short term, though the customer should probably look to provide better air-flow for the HUB. If it's in red over temp, then the HUB definitely must have better air-flow, for it to continue to operate for the long haul. Bob | |||||

Just to clarify, I think your customer has a hub that *was*, not *is* over temp. If the MAM experiences an over-temperature condition it writes to the error log, and displays a message to the LCD display. The messages continue to be displayed while the condition exists. -Shawn |
