hello all, we are at present ina fix. We have installed Hubwatch for digital unix 4.0 on one of the workstation which is connected to a DECHUB900 (16.158.144.45). We start the Hubwatch on the workstation as #hubwatch -x 16.158.144.45 We need to configure the backplane using an DECswitch. When we cick on the backplan icon . there is a hubwatch error flashed which is View data not available. No further info provided. Please let me know what exactly this is and what might be the workaround. I am very new to HUBWATCH. Regards Balaji

You need to use the view -> Lan interconnect window to configure the hub backplane. Make sure you are using the correct read-write community string. -Mike

Mike, We are using View -Lan interconnect for hub back plane, I did not understand read-write community string. We are using 900EF Switch and we want to put this into Back-plane ethernet. Regards Balaji

You have a firmware mis-match somewhere. Put a list of the firmware for the hub manager and the 900EF in here and we will try to tell you which one needs to be upgraded. OR upgrade the MAM and 900EF to latest firmware. |
