Hello all, One of my customer call me this morning and ask me if you can manage the connector of the DECswitch 900EF/MP from the menu when you telnet in the module. According to the documentation there should be 2 options in the ethernet interface for connector configuration. They are "connector-location" and "connector-type" (from the book network interface operations guide chapter 2). On the customer config option and mine we do not see these 2 options. From the release notes we can read that HUBwatch can not be use to manage the module but can be use for the LAN interconnect wich will allow us to configure the ports. We are both running version 1.0 of the software. Now my questions. Is there an error in the documentation for the interface operations guide? If not is this feature will be added later? Thank you luc Pelland

If you're in a hub, you must use ClrVSN Chassis Manager to configure the Ethernet ports. The Telnet CLI will not do want do you want. See the IROCZ::COMMON_BROUTERS notesfile for more details. -tom | |||||
