3634.0. "Does the ClearVISN support AW90 and 900EF ?" by HGOSPS::IVANCHENG () Wed Jun 19 1996 03:30

        I have installed an AW90 EW v1.0a (standalone module), 900EF v1.02
        with Hubone and ClearVISN v1.0. It is found that MultiChassis
        (hubwatch) and clearVISN Router could not communicate to these
    	routers even these routers are configured IP and SNMP.

        Does the ClearVISN support these routers without HUB900 ?

        Thanks.

        Rgds,
        Ivan Cheng

If your routers have an IP address and have SNMP enabled, then
HUBwatch and Router Manager should know they exist.

Is there connectivity between your workstation and the AW90?

Can you ping the AW90?

    Yes, I can ping the AW90 but the hubwatch and router manager cannot
    communicate to AW90's SNMP agent. I tried to use Netview's snmpwalk to
    test the AW90 and it can get the snmp data from the AW90.

    Any ideas ?

    Did you add an entry for an agent (the AW90) in your SNMP Agents table?
