3603.0. "ClearVisn Questions" by NSDP01::RV () Mon Jun 10 1996 04:46

	Hi,

I have just installed the X1017_16 version of ClearVisn, and I have
	some open issues.

	1. The purpose of the excercise I'made is to be able to configure Token
Ring modules, but still with this new version and the latest version of
the Hub Manager (4.1.1) I can't see or define T.R. Flex Channels.
	Is this normal ?

	2. Trying to upgrade the Hub Manager with the New Flash Loader, TFTP
transfer failed due to no respons from a TFTP server.
So I had to start the old NetRider TFTP server in backgroung in order to
	acheive the transfer.
Is this normal, is the a bootp/tftp server not included with the
	hubflash loader ?

	3. ClearVisn is installing old DLL on the PC. After the
installation, some application are claiming that the CTL3D.DLL is too
old. In the \clearvis\routerdb, there is a verion of CTL3D.DLL dated of
the 08/02/93 which seems to be copied under \windows\system.
I have at least a newer version dated of the 13/01/95 which is not
	causing conflicts with other applications.

Voila, this is all for the moment.

There are no Token Ring flex channels. There are two fixed token rings
on the DEChub 900 backplane. If you have at least one token ring module
in your hub, MultiChassis Manager (just like HUBwatch before it) will
display the two token rings in the LAN Interconnect Window. If you have
no token ring modules, the Token Ring LANs are not displayed.

Starting Router Manager makes TFTP server active. But I don't know how can
the customer who didn't buy Router Manager solve this problem.
