What type of ARP does the DH900 do when choosing [6] Downline
Upgrade from the HUbs menu?? Since it has a gateway setup does it do a
General arp or a direct arp to the gateway or both?? From a trace it
appears that it does a general arp but never a direct arp to the
gateway. Or if they setup a rtr for proxy arp then it works.
(this happens when the hub and the system we are dll from are in
different networks)
Thank You
Mark

If the load host is within the subnet the 900 linecards should
arp for the load host directly. If the load host is out of the
subnet the linecard should arp for the gateway.
