Hi, After installing Router Manager on WIN95, I can add a new RouteAbout EW and I can also access to the BOX MAP under device list. But when I 'exit' from Router Manager, I could not access to the device again and the error I got when I tried to add a 'new device': 'Device database was corrupted, please contact technical support' This happens when I login as Admin or other users that I have added. Secondly, does Router Manager provide SNMP MIB browser tools, how can we compile MIB into Router Manager? thanks in advance for help! Andrew Chiu - Network services PS: Router Manager is copied from 16.21.16.205 as stated in note 3556.1

3592.1 | same error occurred... | TKOV51::NAKANO | Koichi Nakano/NPB/Japan | Wed Jun 26 1996 05:46 | 22 |
Same trouble is occurred many times. "Device database was corrupted, please call technical support" (I'm a technical support... :-)) All device data added were cleared. And if I try to add new device, this error message was displayed. I try to maintain device database by using Device DB application, the message "There are no Devices in Database" was displayed and I couldn't refresh the Device database. Only way I can use Router Manager is to delete DeviceDB and re-install application again. This trouble is occurred on Windows95 platform, and is not occurred on WindowsNT platform. Is this trouble S/W bug? I'm afraid this trouble will be in customer site. Thanks in advance, Koichi Nakano. | |||||
