    	I would like know if it's possible to run 40km single mode
    	fiber with DECconcentrator 900 MX using SMF-PMD.
    	Could it be dual-ring or ring with only primary connection?

    I'm not an authoroty on this, but this seems to be fully 
    supported.
    
    As for the topology, the answer is any valid FDDI config,
    so ring, tree, and even broken ring will work.
