3557.0. "HUBwatch & W95, modules setup problems" by ROM01::GALLANA (Francesco Gallana) Fri May 24 1996 12:13

    Hello,

    I experiencing a problem with HUBwatch 4.1.1 on WINDOWS95 while trying
    to set-up some parameter of a DECswitch 900EF (may be there is the same
    problem even on other products)

    The windows where I'm working on is the "Switch configuration:..."

    While trying to modify the LB100 compatibility, Raw 802.3 IPX ...
    I'm not able to display the two options available (ex: Autoselect,
    IEEE 802.1D); instead I see only the actual selection

    The only way to modify the selection is to use HUBwatch on Windows 3.11
    or on UNIX.

    I'm working on both a HiNote Ultra CT450 and on a Venturis

    Sould someone tell me if this problem has been solved?

    Many Thanks

    Francesco

3557.2You're not alone 8-)LEMAN::PAIVAHawkeye - Network Support @GEOMon Jun 03 1996 09:258
    No, you're not the only one. We are using IEEE 802.1d and cannot see
    the Autoselect option since some version of firmware (but aren't about
    which one it is, 1.5.0 or 1.5.2).

    Cheers,

    I have no problem with this option running 1.5.2. What rev are you
    running?

3557.4Choice is there if you "drag" across the selectionsNETRIX::"[email protected]"Aaron StoutMon Jun 03 1996 17:046
I've seen the problem you describe. You can see the other selection if you "drag"
the mouse pointer across the field. It's difficult at first, but after you do
it a few times it becomes easy. Hope this helps...
