    Is packetprobe software available to customers over the internet?
    I couldn't find it on gatekeeper or the npb web page. And what
    is the latest version?
    
    Internally, I found it at NAC::NIPG:[hubwatch.rmon].

    Ok, it appears that v2.6 is the latest, and no, it's not available
    on the internet. Found the following after much poking about 
    on the npb website:
    

                    DECpacketprobe 90 Firmware Kit


    The DECpacketprobe  90  Firmware  Kit  is licensed firmware and as
    such must be purchased along with license for each DECpacketprobe.
    The order number is  QB-219AA-SB for the firmware and one license;
    additional licenses can be purchased by ordering QM-219AA-AA.
