| While we're at it, is there bridging code for the 900et or does it
only run bridge/router code? I suspect the answer is no, but this
same customer was told by somebody that it would. He was also
told that it wouldn't work in a dechub 900, only a hubone???

| In case it helps, the core dump from the customer can be found
at CSC32::DUMPS:[COLTER]HUBWATCH.DMP;1.

re .1
900et does work in decHub900, I have two sitting next to me working
away quite happily.
I don't think that there is any bridge code, just the bridge/router
stuff.
Do we know state the router is in? he ran through qconfig or
just configured the In-band IP address through the console port?
regards

| Andy,
It was configured through qconfig. Both the TR interfaces and the Enet interface
was configured to run IP. I can telnet to the console from d.unix, but when
spawning a telnet session from hubwatch, it core dumps.

3504.5 | DETER not supported in HUBwatch V4.1 | NPSS::WADE | Network Systems Support | Wed May 15 1996 09:52 | 8 |

The DETER shipped very late in the HUBwatch 4.1 cycle. In fact 4.1 was
already out and the DETER was not available for testing against
HUBwatch 4.1. The bottom line is that the DETER is supported in the
clearVISN product set.
