Has anyone seen problems with using a DECswitch 900EE/EF with the
bridge/router software (IP/MP) as the IP server for the DEChub 900 MAM
4.1.1)?
I've been working with a customer who has been losing backplane configs
and SNMP communication to the hub with this setup.
Just curious.

anytime that the router resets, backplane connectivity will be lost.
when the router comes back online, it will spend quite a bit of time
learning ... during that time it will not act as an IP server. better
to use some other module as IP server.
