Hello. I have recently purchased a DECbridge90 and have installed it into my DEC900 in slot 3. When I open Hubwatch I can see the bridge but if I try to manage it Hubwatch gives an error saying that the MAC address in slot 3 does not have an SNMP agent assigned to it. Is the DECbridge90 manageable using SNMP in a DEC900 ? Regards, Colin 751 4062

You need a DECagent 90 somewhere on your lan to manage a DECbridge 90. The DECbridge 90 is not an SNMP device; the DECagent 90 translates between RBMS and SNMP. Then, create a community for the DECbridge 90 in the DECagent 90, and add a record in the HUBwatch agents file for the DB90. For complete details, see the HUBwatch installation manual.
