3453.0. "Who's the man???" by NETRIX::"[email protected]" (Aaron Stout) Mon Apr 15 1996 19:16

I run a large network in CXO that has an increasing number of
DEChub 900 products everyday. I run into MANY apparent bugs every
day using the HUBwatch product and was wondering who I might
converse with email wise with my feedback on the product. I hate
to post every strange observation in the notes file, but I can
follow that approach if desired. I also have input that might be
helpful in determining new features that would be useful in HUBwatch.
Overall it is a pretty good product, but it needs refinement to
become a true enterprise management platform. I run versions under
Windows 3.11(v4.41.1), Windows 95(v4.1.1), VMS (currently FT v4.1.3)
and Digital UNIX(v4.1.1). I frequently update firmware and HUBwatch
versions and see many apparent "bugs", some of which make it into
the notes files. I would like a direct feedback path if possible.

Thanks,
  Aaron Stout

Like the Maytag repairman, I'm lonely, bored, and filled with angst.
Feel free to email me. Can't guarantee results, but you'll feel better
getting problems off your chest, and I'll feel better getting more mail.
Seems like a win-win situation! ;-{)}

Seriously, if you find bugs that you *need* to get fixed, use the
official support channels. But, if you find bugs that are annoying or
if you've got suggestions for new features or improved usability or
whatnot, send 'em to me. Customer-type feedback is important, and
really does find its way back into the product (or at least in new
products). I still can't guarantee anything, but I know who to talk
to about things, and if you convince me, I can become pretty obnoxious
about things.  (who, me?)
