Hello,
I have a customer who has problems with a DS900EF/IP (router)
When he uses bridge only and IP host only mode he can telnet to
the brouter. When he defines the backplane using the slot the
DS900 is in the both IP addresses are not ping-able and not
working (Telnet nor HUBwatch). When he uses for the backplane a
different slot it works ok (after flushing ARP table). When he
enables IP routing it works fine. (But VLAN's are not supported
yet, that is why he uses bridging.)
I will include a IRIS trace. First a ping to the brouter (ARP
incomplete) and second a ping to the hub.
This wil be crossposted in
CAMERO::COMMON_BROUTERS and
NETCAD::HUB_MGNT
