Use clearVISN Resilience. (soon to be renamed clearVISN Recovery Manager).
The former network admin person here in LKG wanted to do exactly what your
customer is asking for. Use Resilience to backup your repeater. The
.sdf file then contains the port numbers and port names. It is very
easy to edit that file to get the info you want. The format of the .sdf
file is documented in the Resilience kit.

You cannot do this with HUBwatch, because the DECserver 90TL/90M/900TM/GM
does not support a LAT mib.

No. Contact Jack NAC::Forrest to have this put on the V5 wish list.

3414.2 | Resilience does not support HUB90 ? | IJSAPL::VISSER_A | | Wed Apr 03 1996 02:54 | 8 |
| Hello Tom,
Thanks for the responces. I have still one question left. I tried using
resilience to extract the data from the repeater in a HUB90, but it
said that this hub was not supported. Does clearVISN Recovery Manager
support this hub ?
Anton.

3414.3 | No DEChub 90 support... | SLINK::HOOD | Your bad news bear | Wed Apr 03 1996 12:02 | 8 |
| No. I didn't realize you were doing a hub90. Resilience 1.0
and Recovery Manager 1.1 only support DEChub 900's, although
2.0 will also do GIGAswitches and a few other devices.
Darn! So close and yet so far...
