3332.0. "Hubwatch question - MultiStack" by KAOA00::TROU31::JMCCANN () Wed Mar 06 1996 11:47
I have a very simple MultiStack configuration consisting of a DECrepeater
90TS (HW=v3,RO=v01.00,SW=v2.0.0) acting as the agent and a DECrepeater
90T-16 (HW=00,RO=v1.000). I am running Hubwatch v4.1.1 on Windows 95.
The question I have is related to Hubwatch - when I launch Hubwatch,
I see a display of the two repeaters with the 90TS illustrated as the
agent and the 90T-16 indicated as being at position 1 on the Position
Identifier Dial. However, the Position Identifier is illuminated as
yellow for the 90t-16 whereas the agent symbol for the 90TS is green.
The actual repeaters both are green and I can bring up the repeater
summary windows and I can look at all of the ports and everything
seems ok.
However, I assume that there is something incorrect or not configured
which is causing the Position Identifier to be a status yellow for the
90T-16 but I am unable to figure it out. Anybody out there have any
ideas to why I have a yellow status for the Position Identifer Dial
for the 90T-16.
Regards...Jim

| Thanks for the reply - I've had experience with other network mgmt
tools and yellow usually meant a warning or caution about something -
that's why I was asking the question.
