I'm novice using following configuration: DechubONE Decswitch 900EF loaded as RouteAbout MP HubWatch 4.1-1 The PC running hubwatch is connected to port 5 of the brouter and it's running fine. Anyway I have two questions: 1) First time I connected the HubONE console got the menu with usual options (Reset module, reset to factory settings, etc) and the option to connect to the Brouter console. I choosed this one and do a normal qconfig to the brouter. Following connections bring me directly to the (*) brouter console prompt and never more get the HubONE console. Is this the intended behaviour? Does a reset (for example) to the HubONE exist and if yes how do I access to it? 2) Once executed Hubwatch I can connect to the brouter with no problem and display the front pannel. But I can't do anything else, double clik to the module or to a port does nothing. What should I expect from Hubwatch connected to a Routeabout? Thanks for any answer, Herminia Codina NS - Barcelona

What should > I expect from Hubwatch connected to a Routeabout? Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed. You will get, at most, a TELNET window with HUBwatch 4.* when you click on a switch running routing code. Other than front panel leds and LAN interconnect support, there is no other management provided for routers. HUBwatch 5.0 will have some level of router management. Also watch for new clearVISN applications specifically designed for the management of routers and WANs. Tom Hood | |||||
