3203.1"new MIBs"? Same as it ever was.NETCAD::GALLAGHERFri Jan 26 1996 10:3851
The FDDI concentrator products support:

	MIB-II. (RFC 1213)
	FDDI MIB, (RFC 1512)
	ELAN MIB,
	public-common MIB

These MIBs are available via anonymous ftp from "ftp.dec.com (16.1.0.2)".
Instructions are attached.

The concentrator products support the following traps:

	ColdStart
	LinkUp
	LinkDown (conditionally)
	AuthenticationFailure
	A "DEC-private" Port trap

Traps are only sent when you've given the module an IP address, and give
the module one or more "trap-sink" addresses. Both can be assigned thru
the setup-port.

If you have both in-band and out-of-band ports active then linkDown traps
are sent out the port that didn't go down.

WarmStart traps are not sent because the device doesn't warm-start (reset
such that the management parameters are unchanged).

The port trap may be enabled/and disabled via management. It indicates when
stations are attached or removed from the ring on a given port.
