3162.0. "DC900MX+DEF1H=A/B + 6 M ports?" by SCASS1::DAVIES (Mark, SCA Area Network Consultant) Tue Jan 16 1996 09:50
My mind has drawn a blank. I used to know this answer, but it has
slipped away.
When you configure a DECconcentrator 900MX standalone with a DEChub
ONE-MX (DEF1H) as the docking station, can you use the two ports on the
DEF1H as the A/B ports and use all 6 of the DC900MX bezel ports as M
ports?
Thanks,
Mark

| Yes but use the 3.1.1 DEF6X firmware. I know there were some problems
with using the FDDI ports on the DEF1H with earlier revs of firmware so
be sure use the latest.
