    I am working with a Digital Field Engineer on a local account, who
    recently bought a DECswitch 900EF to add to their current config of Hub
    900, Concentrator and (2) DECswitch900EFs.
    
    Here is the problem from the FE:
    
    They can not add a 3rd Decswitch 900 to the FDDI ring, it
    comes up add failed. If I remove a Decswitch and then replace it with a new
    one it works fine. Colorado suggested taking the concentrator off the FDDI
    ring then adding the third switch, then bring the concentrator back on the 
    ring. This is not acceptable to the customer (they expect to add the
    new switch with the existing up and running). 
    
    Any known problems? Ideas?  Supposedly he is at the latest firmware
    revs and running Hubwatch 4.1. Thanks

    Whats the FDDI lan interconnect look like? Which slots have A,B out the
    back and which ones have A or B out the front?
