3146.0. "DECbridge and Multistack" by LISTIM::ULTRIX (Estne Finis, aut Initium Finis...?) Wed Jan 10 1996 11:56
Hi
Sorry if it's a stupid question , but I don't know the answer.
We have a customer which has the new Multistack hub , he has
a simple configuration with a DECbridge 90FL and 3 DECrepeater 90T.
He wants to do the "show repeater" command on the bridge and see
the repeater , like he does on DEChub90.But no luck , he doesn't have
any answer.
Is this command supposed to work , like in the DEChub ?
Thanks for your answers
Carlos
Note:Yes , all the managment cables are connected as in pages 3-8 or
3-9 of the Instalattion and configuration.Yes the switches are OK.
This customer is a previous collegue (Senior Engineer) which accept new
challenges ....

3146.2 | DECbridge: move the rotary switch to "agent" | ROM01::GALLANA | Francesco Gallana | Fri May 16 1997 06:45 | 12 |
| More than one year later...
We configured the DECbridge 90 as "agent" (switch positioned to "agent"
instead of "bridge" position) and now it is able to see the repeaters
Since this is an undocumented feature, can somebody tell me if this is
the right way to support this kind of configuration?
Regards
Francesco
